"Sunflower Pincushion"

This pattern is from the chart-pack "More of Button, Button... Pincushion Collection II".  I purchased it in Kelowna a few years ago, and finally got around to sewing it together on July 28th, 2006.  The yellow petals are a wool/polyester blend; the rest of the colors are solid wool.  The blanket stitch and french knots are done in DMC pearl cotton #3 and #5.  The leaves are a darker green on the back.  This was a lot of fun to stitch and I'm looking forward to using it!
