"NOEL Bell Pull" I love this design... It is stitched with ecru #5 pearl cotton from DMC, DMC flosses, and Kreinik braid. The beads and the button are from Mill Hill. It's stitched on Zweigart stitchband. The tassel at the bottom is made of wool, and it is backed with wool felt. This took me about 8 hours to stitch, spread over four days in January 2005.
I did a detail shot of the "L" so you can see the cute button. The stitches in the Kloster Blocks are done in silver braid, and there is a bead in the spaces between the Kloster Blocks. |
"Stitcher's Bookmark"
This bookmark was given as a freebie design from my local needlework store, Cross-Stitch Corner in Beelvue, Washington. The owner charted out the "happy" at the end. There are lots of color changes, so I'm not sure how the original was supposed to look. ;) It is stitched on Zweigart Stitchband.
"Thistle Ornament"
This ornament is from the 2002 Just Cross-Stitch Ornament Issue. I stitched it in about two days. It uses Needle Necessities Overdyed Floss, Kreinik Metallics, and Mill Hill Seed Beads. The beads around the edging were purchased at a bead store in Bellevue.
