"Standing Lion Cushion"

This needlepoint design is published in the "Medieval Needlepoint" book.  I stitched this on 10-mesh Zweigart Deluxe Mono Canvas using Paternayan Wool Threads with continental and basketweave tent stitches.  I have more notes and photos on the work-in-progress page for this design.

This was stitched in 2005, with a evening's work in 2006.  It took about four weeks of steady stitching time spread out over the winter.  I did the finishing on January 3rd, 2006.
